Sorry about the silly character name.
Before saving, I was fiddling with the size of the MageGuild window. After resizing, some of the display got screwy (messages and status area not being updated correctly), so figured I'd save and reload to see if that fixed it. Turns out it gave a corrupted save instead.

Savefile loads OK in dev code; it looks like this savefile came from 1.9.2. I just released the next iteration of the beta a few minutes ago, 1.9.3, which has a fix for the save/load bug.
Give 1.9.3 a shot, and if that doesn't fix the issue, we can revisit this. Thanks for the report!
