No, that's definitely not normal. MageGuild should run just fine on XP.

Can you be more specific about how it's not working? Does it give you an error message?

It gave some message like

It gave some message like "Read memory access /something in hex code/". When I reach my parents' computer again, I remember exactly. On my Vista it works great, thanks)

On my friend's XP it works

On my friend's XP it works normal. I'm disappointed)

You might try making sure

You might try making sure that the WindowsXP on the machine it doesn't work on has been fully updated. If it's got an old version of the .NET Framework, that can cause problems.

It seems like that was XP

It seems like that was XP SP2. My parents' computer isn't connected to Internet - so, it hasn't updates above "pure" SP2.
