
0) More noticeable Wand tile.
1) Wand+Scroll of [something] = Wand of [something] (more powerful spell, less amount of charges).
2) Scrolls of Forgotten Magic. With some interesting "non-school" spells. For example, "Teleport to Nearest Fountain". Or "Kill That Monster with 100% Chance of Getting Remains". Or "Kill All Monsters and Create a Cigarette From Nothing" =)
3) Some way to utilize useless wands and amulets. For example, "pure" wand mixed with enchanted wand gives few extra charges to the last one. In case of amulets, "pure" amulet increases durability of enchanted one.
4) Some fun interaction with two mirrors. In our reality it is interesting, why in that game it's not?
5) A little bit of correlation between runes and large monster groups. Power rune isn't necessary to kill a pair of wolves.
6) A chance to find custom artifacts on the floor, without crafting them with Ath's Token. I don't know, maybe, it's already done.

0) Yeah, probably a good idea. The tiles in general could use an overhaul.
1 & 2) These would be a major pain in the ass to implement; that said, they're also neat ideas. :)
3) This makes a lot of sense, but it's already too easy to extend the duration of game-breaking wands and amulets.
4) Interesting. I think I can drop something in there for that.
5) This is actually semi-intentional; part of the balancing factor of a rune is that you can't pick it up and take it with you. It creates incentive to kite mobs to different parts of the map, etc.
6) As it stands, you cannot find artifacts on the ground. I think I'd actually be more likely to add some rare, unusual, otherwise unobtainable items, rather than make the Ath token artifacts more available.
